The story of Dennis Rasmussen at its core is a love story. His love of sports broke down any barriers that existed because of his challenges. People around northeastern Wisconsin grew to love Dennis because of his pure enthusiasm and love for the things they could do that he could not. He taught us all how to appreciate the timeless lessons of sports . . . but also the acceptance of others.
